Making waves and collecting wins: On Feb 6, Girls’ Varsity Waterpolo
played Fallbrook High School in the League Championship, winning
13 – 5. For their Senior Night, Audrey Lawless, Taylor Harper, Mackenzie
Farnham, Emma Lee, Kyra Mau, Keira Walters, and Kassandra
Newham dived through hula hoops decorated with their names and
received flower bouquets from family and friends. They also celebrated
their senior opponents from Fallbrook with their own bouquets. Going
into their first CIF payoffs game against Westhills on Feb. 12, they were
first in League and 6th in the San Diego Section Division II rankings.
