Smoked Gouda, Caramelized Mushrooms, and Crispy onions on top of a juicy grilled eight ounce burger! The top notch food, service, and atmosphere are all a part of the latest and greatest addition of Pacific Social to San Diego’s best restaurants.

Pacific Social is a restaurant owned and operated by the Cohn Restaurant group located in Pacific Highland Ranch, a mere twenty-minute drive from Poway High.

Both their inside and outside dining offer Instagram-worthy views and comfortable seating, along with a menu that can satisfy any discerning taste. The restaurant is surrounded by illuminating fireplaces; a pristine yellow rose wall, and a bright pink lit sign with the phrase “Eat, drink, and be social.”

Pacific Social is a good spot for foodies, and their menu includes gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Cool breezes welcome visitors on the outside patio where they can choose to watch a sports game or have a cozy dinner at the fire table.

Upon arrival, we were immediately seated. Once we ordered, our food and drinks came relatively quickly. Pacific Social’s menu offers a wide variety of tasty options from scampi and fish tacos to burgers and salads. All their dishes take it up a notch.

My family and I split a giant pretzel and some Brussel sprouts. Thepretzel was sprinkled in salt and came with honey mustard and cheese sauces; it was delicious. Every bite I took made me want more. The Brussel sprouts were sauteed with pancetta, pork belly, parmesan cheese, and drizzled in balsamic vinegar glaze.

I ordered a chicken caesar salad that included sundried tomatoes for a sweet surprise.

My mom’s sweet and spicy burger had candied bacon, garlic aioli, and hot pepper relish.

As it was my dad’s 53rd birthday, they served us a complimentary brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. This was a perfect dessert to savor.

Pacific Social is also known for its unique individual pie flavors, such as Spiced Apple, Key Lime, S’mores, and Chocolate Pecan Dulce de Leche.

Prices are a good value ranging from $10-$20 for food items.  These low prices make Pacific Social a great restaurant to celebrate any occasion.

The Divine food, scenic views, and the thrilling sports games aired across the restaurant are worth getting out of Poway.
