The happiest place on earth will be visited by this year’s senior class.
Senior class officers Nora Ward and Josie Allen have been planning this trip to Disneyland on Saturday, Jan. 25.
“Lots of people asked if we could make it happen, so we did,” Allen said.
The tickets can be purchased at the finance office for $135, with a permission slip signed by a parent. The permission slips are available in the front office or the ASB room.
Transportation by charter buses is included in the price.
This trip was made possible by seniors’ input. A poll was sent to homerooms and 80 percent of seniors who participated in the poll said they wanted to go and would be willing to pay.
“I’m really looking forward to this trip. I’m so happy Josie and I have been able to make it happen,” senior Nora Ward said.
On Jan. 25, seniors participating in this trip will leave the school at 7 a.m. and will be leaving the theme park at 10 p.m.
If students have a pass, or have already purchased a ticket separate from the school, they are still welcome to go on the same day, but they will need to find their own means of transportation.
“Disneyland is a memorable place, and with my friends it will be even more memorable. I can’t wait to go on my favorite ride “Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage,” senior Victor Marano said.
Tickets will not run out before the deadline to purchase on Jan. 10.
