Hugging each other, seniors Luke Estrada and Luke Jorgensen enjoy their last homecoming together.
The Homecoming dance took place on Oct. 18 at the Broadway Pier, surrounded by the USS Midway and the bright lights of the San Diego skyline. With a huge turnout of 1100 hyped up students, there were many things to do, like group photos with Broadway-themed props at the photobooth, a caricature artist drawing group portraits, and a huge silver screen showing a double feature of two musicals: The Greatest Showman and Hamilton. The lively dancers were entranced by the DJ, who had a huge digital display with hot dog-riddled rave visuals, and students also enjoyed talking and walking together on the outdoor pier. There were also lots of treats to eat, like mini donuts and popcorn, in all flavors.
