MUST DO BEFORE BIDDING ADEUI

May 20, 2019

As we get closer and closer to the end of the school year, it’s a good idea to start planning out what fun activities you can participate in and places to go during summer. For seniors going away to college, it’s their last chance to experience what our city has to offer.
Luckily for all of us, San Diego is filled with almost endless possibilities of things to do.
Whether you are a new student in town or an experienced San Diego adventurer, here are 5 things you need to cross off your 2019 summer bucket list.
If you are looking for somewhere to spend your day but don’t feel like blowing any money, Balboa Park might be exactly what you are looking for. It features multiple attractions, including museums, beautiful gardens like the Zoro and Alcazar gardens, countless street performers, and architecture you could stare at all day.
If walking around all day is not your cup of tea and would rather relax by the ocean, La Jolla Cove is your go-to. It is a cove surrounded by cliffs, leaving you with a beautiful view of the ocean and provides many opportunities to get up close and personal with wild marine life. Speaking of beaches, this next beach is one people love to go every day. Del Mar is Spanish for “by the sea.” Powerhouse Park is a classic place for Poway High students to meet up and have a great time.
In the beautiful city of San Diego there is so much to do, and so little time. No list could even scratch the surface of what this city has to offer, so make sure to make your summer count!
