Winter guard perform “Leaving Manhattan”
After the marching band season is over, the Color guard becomes winter guard and puts together a new routine for competition season. This year’s piece is titled “Leaving Manhattan.” Choreographed by coaches Alexander Bolander and Laurèn Manrik, it tells of a girl who just broke up with her boyfriend, and is leaving the city. On Saturday, March 21, the team performed at Mira Mesa High School and placed second.
