The Habit Burger Grill serves grilled charburgers, similar to Carl’s Jr.’s grilled patties. but with very different flavors. If you would like to try The Habit’s unique menu, a new location in The Poway Plaza is coming soon. 

Unlike many other fast food joints, The Habit seems to focus more on cleanliness, not just for COVID, but all the time.

The restaurant is very clean and well furnished, but unfortunately because of COVID-19 restrictions, I was not able to be seated. Instead, I ordered inside the building, then waited outside for about seven minutes for my order. The front counter offered a perfect view into the kitchen, where I could see the burgers on the grill, shakes being made, and fries being fried. 

The whole operation seems to put cleanliness first, which is very comforting to know that your food will be sanitary.

The Habit makes very interesting burgers. Sure, they have your regular beef patty, lettuce, tomato, and pickles, but their real strong suit is their unique sandwiches and chars. The Habit serves everything from grilled cheese to chicken sandwiches to tenderloin steak sandwiches. My personal favorite is the teriyaki char.

They also have some inspired burgers, like the Teriyaki char or the Santa Barbara char. If you need something small, The Habit also serves chicken nuggets, fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries and tempura green beans, along with a variety of salads.

All the employees are very polite, and try to introduce you to different options, like adding avocado or bacon to any sandwich. They are also happy to remove any ingredients you don’t want from your order. Most importantly, they finished my order very quickly.

If you are looking for a delicious burger but willing to pay a little extra, The Habit Burger Grill is an excellent restaurant for you. The Habit is coming soon to the Poway Plaza, so you won’t have to drive far to get a char or a shake from The Habit.
