Apple’s newly released iPhone stirs up debate

The iPhone 12 is simple to dismiss as just “more of the same,” especially when it’s just a reminder of the older iPhone models. The question has strung out about how a technologically advanced phone could look and feel almost exactly like the previous versions of the iPhone.

By creating a similar replica to models such as the iPhone 4 and 5 , techs were able to achieve a goal that many would look up to later on. Similar to the 4 and 5 models, the iPhone 12 has squared edges.

Its ceramic edges help to shield the screen up to four times as much as a normal rounded Apple iPhone. So basically, the phone is four times harder to shatter than previous models. Techs were further able to upgrade the screen as well. It’s now an OLED screen which allows for more compatible screen content (what does that mean?)The OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) screen also varies in a variety of colors such as rich hues of black and blue, helping customers get a colorful viewing pleasure.

One of the most impressive features of the iPhone 12 is 5G connectivity. 5G brings faster speeds and more assured connectivity to the new iPhone 12, but 5G networks aren’t fully developed around the world. Coverage is still a bit fitful; there are still too many places, even in big and largely populated cities, where it’s hard to get full coverage. The iPhone 12 can connect to a huge range of  5G signals. If you are near one of these frequencies, you should be able to connect to it.

One of the main topics of debate was that chargers and earbuds were not included in the packaging of the iPhone 12. Apple is trying to cut their usage of unfriendly resources that negatively affect our planet. By not including earbuds and chargers, they are able to save a massive amount of energy and money. Apple encourages their customers to reuse the earbuds and chargers they already have from previous models. If this method proves to be effective, they will start decreasing the inclusion of earbuds and chargers in older iPhone models as well.

These are just the basic headlines of the latest iPhone. It still carries more show-stopping features such as increased battery life and no home button. Overall, the iPhone 12 is associated with ground breaking technology that will determine how our future plays out. Colorful viewings, amazing camera quality, and wireless connectivity are only part of what makes this phone so unique and special.
