Golden crispy fries, creamy peppery sauce, buttery bread, and juicy tenders are what Raising Cane’s chicken fingers have to offer.
I have been to Canes, including their new location on Poway Road, many times, with the food coming out close to perfect every time. There is an interesting interior design with things like disco balls and special framed pictures for Poway, Rancho Bernardo, and Mount Carmel High Schools.
The timing of the food is pretty good. The staff fulfilled my expectations with food being ready and hot within minutes. I have never had Canes come out cold and gross-tasting, making it reliable food you can get promptly.
In my meal, I got four tenders, one coleslaw, one bread, fries, sauce, and a beverage for around $15. For the price, I would say this is a slight reach in terms of how much I’m getting and affordability.
My favorite part is the house sauce; they offer ketchup as their alternative, but the house sauce really carries out the entire meal, making the flavors all come together, and it is one of the best fast food sauces you can get. The sauce is spicy, creamy,a nd tangy and includes ingredients like mayo, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce.
I thoroughly enjoyed their coleslaw being combined with the bread sauce and chicken, The coleslaw is a cold, crunchy salad-like side that refreshes the meal and balances all the fried food you are eating. The bread is a buttery, crispy side that can be paired with the chicken.
I do not eat as often as I would like because I try to get cheaper food under $10.If I am going beyond my personal budget, I’m willing to spend on quantity. It’s definitely a treat to go with friends or after a game with my team.
Overall, the chicken combined with the sides makes for a great, easy meal that can be picked up on the go. Along with a fun experience to check out with your family.
