Six assassins come together to take on a risky mission as Marvel’s most complicated and complex characters. Teenagers and adults have been excited to see the new Marvel movie, Thunderbolts.
Fortunately, Marvel succeeded in impressing fans and making an entertaining movie. Thunderbolts was released into theaters on May 2.
The movie focuses on Yelena, played by Florence Pugh, and her journey to get out of the shadow of her sister, Black Widow. Yelena wants to define what being a hero truly means. The film centers on a team of misfits as they work together to face an ongoing threat interrupting the Marvel universe.
These characters include Sentry (Lewis Pullman), Mel (Geraldine Viswanathan), and the U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell). My favorite character is the Red Guardian (David Harbour) because is the
funniest character out of everyone. The plot balances both their character development and action. Each character had their moment to shine in at least one part of the movie.
The misfits are forced to reveal their pasts, and not hide it away anymore. Some are full of trauma, and others have made mistakes. In doing this, they work together to complete a threatening mission by confronting the “dark force.” I did not have high expectations for this film because I am not a huge fan of Marvel movies; they usually bore me. I was surprised to be impressed. I enjoyed the action, and Marvel successfully made it amusing.
I loved the emotion that was used and how well the actors played their parts. They capture their roles perfectly. Everybody, including Marvel fans, are impressed as the film ties up ends of
problems that the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, was suffering from previously. These problems include confusing and complicated narratives resulting from rushed productions.
Personally, I really enjoyed this movie, and I would recommend people watch it if they have the chance. This marks an exciting new era for Marvel andI am excited for the new version of Marvel movies to come out. I can’t wait to see what they do and the changes they will make.
