Crack the case in Murder Mystery 2

Nick and Audrey Spitz played by Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are hitting crossroads in their private detective business and in their marriage until they get a call from their good friend the Maharajah telling them he is getting married.

An all-paid trip to a private island to see their friend get married? Of course, they are going. They finally have the nice relaxing vacation that they’ve always wanted. It is a little bumpy at first, but after a bit, they feel right at home. There is a lovely dance and everyone is happy until they hear a gunshot and look to see the Maharajah’s bodyguard lying on the ground.

Everyone is running for their lives except a group of people standing still in fear. It appears that the Maharajah has been kidnapped. Confused and wondering who would do this, Nick and Audrey run through ideas on who had a motive to kidnap the Maharajah. Turns out, everyone in the room has a valid reason so, everyone is a suspect no matter who they are.

Murder Mystery 2 is a face-paced mystery set in Paris and you will have a million ideas about who the culprit is but you will never be right. All of the actors and actresses were spot-on, and I never wanted the movie to end. You can watch both movies on Netflix. Both the first and second Murder Mystery movies are mind-blowing.

I never wanted to even pause this movie when I was watching it. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. People say the majority of the time the sequels are not better than the original, but in this case, it was. Murder Mystery 1 was good but Murder Mystery 2 stepped up the game.

Aniston and Sandler work amazingly together. These movies were made for them, and I could not imagine anyone else playing their characters. Aniston plays a witty, courageous hairdresser and Sandler plays an adventurous and extroverted police officer. They have both been in the industry for a long time but have not lost their spark.

Both Murder Mystery movies have a little bit of every genre. You will feel all kinds of emotions and it will leave you shocked in the end. Overall, this movie was amazing and I will definitely watch it again. I think it should be a must-watch for everyone of all ages and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.
