Upload, The Digital Afterlife
The new season of Upload is out and ends with a big cliffhanger!
Imagine the future where you can upload your memory to a digital world, Upload, pictures it. If you thought the first season ended on a cliffhanger, season two will really surprise you. Season two’s ending made me way more excited for future seasons of the show.
The newest season started when Ingrid, played by Allegra Edwards, bought herself a VR suit for Nathan, played by Robbie Amell. Nathan was surprised. At first he was annoyed at her but after a while he got used to it. Ingrid became obsessed with Lakeview, which is the digital place Nathan lives.
Luke, played by Kevin Bigley, became closer friends with Nathan. Luke is one of the best characters because he has the most energy, but my favorite character would have to be the AI guy, played by Owen Daniels. Owen Daniels played two characters, Boris Netherlands and AI guy. If I could predict what happens in season 3 it would be that Nathan has two versions of himself, one digital and the other real.
The conflict between David Choak, played by William B. Davis and Nathan was one of my favorite parts in season 2. David Choak’s character had a plot twist. I give season 2 of Upload a 9/10 since I watched season one when it came out in May last year and I was waiting for a new season, and it didn’t disappoint me.
