Best Girl Scout Cookies
COVID-19 has taken a lot away from us, but one thing that it can’t touch is the blessing of Girl Scout cookies. That’s right, it is finally the season of joy and deliciousness. Everyone can agree that Girl Scout cookies are amazing, even if they are a bit pricey.
However, an argument surrounds these cookies that may never truly be resolved. The argument about which cookie flavors are the best.
There are now a total of 12 flavors. Toast-Yay!’s, Thin Mints, Lemon-Ups, Lemonades, Trefoils, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-Dos, Toffee-Tastic, Caramel Chocolate Chip, and two types of S’mores (depending on your area, as Girl Scouts have two different bakeries). Of these many delicious options, which are the best?
Obviously, the answer to this difficult question is subjective. People have different preferences. However, I believe there are some that simply stand above the rest.
These outstanding cookies would have to be Thin mints, S’mores, and Tagalongs. Everyone has one of these cookies on their top picks. I would also like to point out, if Samoas are your favorite cookie, please get your taste buds checked because you may have a serious issue.
After years of taste testing and asking people their opinions, I would have to say that Thin-Mints are definitely a fan favorite. This is for good reason, the chocolatey, crunchy texture mixed with a bliss of mint radiation is a savory delight.
That said, the very best flavor is subjective and varies based on one’s individual taste. I encourage people to go out and try all the flavors because you really can’t go wrong with any of them. This truly is one of the best times of the year for our taste buds, right behind Thanksgiving.
