Lying to your friends and murdering them? This may sound extreme, however in this game there is no extreme. Among US, a video game released in 2018, is based on lying and deceit. It is a multiplayer game and has a max of 10 people included The game includes six to 10 crewmates. Among those crewmates  are between one and three imposters. The crewmates’ jobs are to catch the imposters while completing tasks around the map. Meanwhile  imposters try to kill the crewmates and sabotage their tasks without revealing themselves as imposters.

The game has been out for a while, but platforms such as Tik Tok and Twitch have recently blown it up  and the game has become super popular. Streamers such XQC, Toast, and Soulja Boy have brought attention to their gameplay and how they play the game.. People love to see the reactions of streamers while playing the game.

Overall, Among US is a really fun party game and is super fun to play with a big group of friends. It is intense yet super goofy at the same time. In my experience with the game it’s way more fun to lie to your friends to see their reaction. Tricking your friend into thinking you’re innocent when you are an imposter is one of the funniest things i’ve encountered while playing a video game.

I would highly recommend playing it with friends. When you play with your closest friends it feels more intense. Some of your friends can tell when you lie so it is key to improve your bluffThis game deserves a 10/10.  The game costs $5 to download on Computers and Macs, however is free to play on a phone.
