You are at your friend’s house, and they offer you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich fan offer that can not be resisted.

They open the shivering cold fridge to get the delicious jelly, then walk over to the pantry. They pull out the Skippy peanut butter and it had a light blue label. It’s creamy. They crack the seal and you are frightened with the horrific sight of the disgusting layer of oil covering the good stuff. This all could have been avoided if they bought crunchy.

Crunchy vs. Creamy is an age old discussion, but when it comes down to it, chunky is the premier choice.

It is proven to be better for your health, for one reason. Crunchy peanut butter has 30% more fiber than creamy, and has less saturated fats.

Not only is crunchy peanut butter healthier, it also provides a perfect texture, one that can’t be achieved by the bland smooth creamy stuff. Texture means a lot in food, and it makes a huge difference in a sandwich with soft bread and jelly.

Finally, crunchy peanut butter fills you up more than creamy does. Crunchy also leaves your mouth less dry than its sticky counterpart. Crunchy peanut butter is definitely more bang for your buck, and will step up your culinary experience after you add it to your pantry.
