The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is an association that comes to all schools to evaluate the way students are taught. They came six years ago, and now it is Poway High’s turn again. From Oct. 26 to Oct. 29, the visiting committee will be coming to school, evaluating classes and talking to staff, students, and parents.

WASC will not be here only on school days, but also on the weekend. They will have a meeting with the teachers to talk to them about what they saw during the days that they were at Poway High visiting the classrooms. They will also be giving recommendations to make school better.
