The Boys’ golf played in the Palomar League Tournament April 31st and May 1 at Twin Oaks Middle and got second place with a score of 797 points.
The tournament went well for the team, “Caden Vermilyea, one of our best got fourth place overall for the bracket,” Coach John Darwin said. Caden played tenaciously, “The seventh hole was the hardest for me due to the water hazard and wind conditions,” Vermilyea said.
According to the players Rancho Bernardo was the biggest opponent.
“The RB players had strong hits and their aim was dead on,” senior Henry Wagner said The boys were smiling the whole time,
“Our chemistry on and off the field is always strong, and we keep each other motivated,” senior Logan Reithmeier said.
“Our goal is to keep this energy throughout the rest of the season and positivity to CIF which is May 13 and 15th at Admiral Baker Golf Course,” senior Caden Vermilyea said.by
