Spider Man Movie Review

TOBIAS BURNETT/ Staff Writer

There is a new Spiderman movie making this the fourth different Spiderman. His name is Miles Morales. This time the atmosphere changes because the movie is animated. With beautiful visuals and great storytelling it’s hard not to fall in love with this movie. This movie has all the characteristics of a great superhero movie while still maintaining the family aspect. The movie has a very entertaining plot and very good character development. It has a deeper meaning than just a normal superhero movie. Overall I think this is a very good movie and all ages can watch it.

The storytelling was amazing with many great characters. I found that the variety of characters wasn’t overwhelming as each character had value to the story. They gave every character different backstories and powers. Another aspect I found great was the family aspect and how they included the Morales family. With Miles being african american and latino it’s nice to see him be fluent in both languages and talks to his family with both. Also Miles uncle who forms a big brother type bond with him throughout the movie. Also just the visuals are stunning. With the bright and colorful comic book vibe it is just amazing to watch. I believe this is one of the best animated movies of the year. With multiple spider man appearing in this movie it’s also very nice to the all the new suits. It’s cool to see all of the different type of Spiderman team up with their different powers. The main thing I found that really made me enjoy this movie was the acting with amazing voice overs of ┬áJake Johnson and Shameik Moore their voices just perfectly fit the character and clearly had amazing chemistry with each other. Overall I believe that this movie is a 10/10 and I recommend heavily.
